Mobile app development for iOS and Android, from one codebase

We build native-feeling apps for iOS and Android from a single React Native codebase, from Mumbai, for businesses whose customers or teams live on their phones.

What we build

Mobile apps

The approach is the one behind everything we ship: a first version that does one thing completely, in real use early, and measured from day one. Our own mobile app is in development on exactly that approach.

Product definition and prototype

We start with the one job the app must do well, and a clickable prototype to test it before building the rest.

iOS and Android from one codebase

React Native with Expo, so both platforms ship from the same code and stay in step with each release.

Backend, sign-in and analytics

The API, authentication and data the app needs, with analytics events designed up front so you can see how people actually use it.

App Store and Play Store release

Store listings, review submissions and the release process for both stores.

After launch

Monitoring, crash and usage review, and a steady release rhythm, because version one is where the learning starts.

How a project runs

Listen, build, prove, grow

  1. 1ListenWe start inside the client's business: what the team does today, where the time goes, what a good outcome looks like in their own numbers. The first deliverable is a plain statement of the problem the client agrees is the right one.
  2. 2BuildThe first version does one thing end to end and goes into real use early. Each release after that is complete on its own, so the client is never waiting on a launch date to see value.
  3. 3ProveAutomated tests, audits against live data, and measurement built into the product itself. Before we call anything done, we can show the numbers that say it works — and the client can re-run those checks any time.
  4. 4GrowLaunch is the beginning of the relationship. We keep monitoring, keep answering, and keep shipping the improvements that the people using the product ask for.

Questions about mobile app development

Should we build a native app or a cross-platform one?+

For most businesses, one cross-platform codebase is the better choice: one team, one release, both stores. A fully native build makes sense for apps that lean heavily on platform-specific features, and we'll say if yours does.

Do we need an app, or would a website do?+

If your customers come back often and you need notifications or offline use, an app earns its place. If most visits are one-off, a fast mobile website is usually the better investment. Our article on apps versus PWAs for D2C brands walks through the trade-off.

How much does a mobile app cost?+

It depends on the screens, the backend and the integrations. We define the first version with you, then give a written scope and estimate.

Do you handle App Store and Play Store submission?+

Yes, including the listings, the review submissions and responding to reviewer feedback.

Do you maintain the app after launch?+

Yes. Launch is the start of the relationship: we keep monitoring, answering and shipping improvements, usually on a light monthly arrangement.
